You can set direct deposit alert on Chase checking account. If the ACH transfer is counted as direct deposit, they automatically send you an email to confirm that. Of course, the prerequisite is you should set the alert by yourself. Please note that you should never call your bank to verify whether or not ING & PayPal are counted as Direct Deposit.
Chase British Airways Signature Visa Card Offers 100,000 Bonus Miles
Finally, we get news on the “huge” credit card offer from Chase. From the link provided here, we can see that Chase and British Airlines are offering super hot 100,000 bonus miles after spending $2000 in three months. This offer is much better than I mentioned American Express Premier Rewards Gold Card which is offering $150 bonus after spending $1000 in 3 months.
I believe this 100,000 bonus miles are good enough for TWO round trips from USA to Europe or Asia. This deal is way better than other airline miles offers. You can check the miles needed to get a free ticket at here.
The bad thing on this card is that there is a $75 annual fee on this card. This card is now available for application for U.S. British Airways Executive Club members and those who are not club members have to wait until November 16 to start application.
If you can not make $2000 in 3 months, you can still get 50,000 bonus miles after first purchase. (Surely, you will make $2000 goal. Because usually you can buy some gift cards to qualify the spending requirements.)

However, you can not find the advertisement of this promotion at NationalCity.com. It seems that this is a branch-only event. $125 or $225 Checking Account Bonus from KeyBank - Only Certain States

All the money on the site is calculated in British Pounds so be sure to calculate that in your purchase or you may end up spending more than you thought.
